As the Director of Development, Courtne facilitates and leads all fundraising efforts. Courtne is responsible for securing strategic sponsorships and the overall financial development of the organization.

While teaching in China, Courtne started her own tutoring business where she developed materials and employed five teachers directly under her. Additionally, Courtne has a B.A. in Journalism and has eight years of media and communications experience. Her personal goal is to get Black Women Benefit funded to where every Black woman can truly benefit.
